Dr. Lutz is a dedicated and caring people-oriented primary care physician with 25 years of experience serving the healthcare needs of residents of Gahanna and other Columbus communities. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Cincinnati and his medical degree from The Ohio State University. Dr. Lutz completed his family medicine residency at Grant Medical Center and is board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.

Dr. Lutz focused his early career on providing urgent medical care as well as excellent, much-needed care for uninsured and impoverished urban patients. Since 1991, Dr. Lutz has served in Gahanna as a primary care physician to patients of all ages, from infants to seniors, treating a variety of diseases and conditions as well as providing complete wellness and preventive care. Dr. Lutz has also served as preceptor and mentor to new physicians who are working to complete their own family medicine residency.

Dr. Lutz is FAA-certified as a Senior Aviation Medical Examiner and can provide annual required physicals for Class 1, 2 & 3 pilots. Click on "Our Services" to learn more about our pilot physicals service.

Dr. Lutz and his family live in Blacklick where he is actively involved in his children’s athletic activities and opens his home to host a weekly bible study group.
